Project Management Institute
The Project Management Institute (PMI) is a global project management association founded in the United States of America. By the end of 2019, PMI had more than 591,000 members with over 300 local organisations (chapters) in over 200 countries. As the project management organisation that holds the largest number of members worldwide, PMI publishes the "Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge" (PMBOK Guide) and other best practises for project management, programme management, and portfolio management.
