There’s a lot of literature on both agile and traditional approaches in project management out there. Looking at the real world, the number of combined approaches is increasing, because every project is unique in its framework conditions, predictability, or complexity. Some projects are open to results, some have clear objectives and are easy to plan, and some lie somewhere in between. For each project, the appropriate method needs to be selected, which can also be a combination of a predictive and an adaptive approach.
